I'm fundraising for Autism NT
I'm joining the Be Awesome for Autism in the NT to support the local autistic community and families.
1 in 48 children are diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum in the NT and I want to help by raising vital funds to keep Autism NT assisting our local families.
I was diagnosed as autistic less than a year ago after a lifetime of trying to understand why I didn't fit in, and why I struggled with things that 'everyone else' could do.
There is a lack of awareness of females on the spectrum and we are frequently misdiagnosed or fall through the cracks.
I now have understanding of who I am and how I think differently. I have more confidence and want other people to be able to feel this way, especially children and young people.
Every single dollar from this fundraiser stays in the NT to assist Territory families and individuals on the spectrum.
